Hi all, looking for a few more participants for my online professional development class. It is not too late to register! Using Technology to Teach Comprehensive Musicianship
This is an online course for current and future music educators. This course will combine three major elements: study the concept of comprehensive musicianship, evaluation of technology tools available for instruction, and the creation of rich instructional content using technology. Students provide their own music and all class materials are digitally delivered via class website. At the end of the class you will have completed a planned unit of music instruction full of technology integration.
You will be able to work on the course anywhere you have access to a computer and the Internet. We will learn to use many online tools to complete assignments. There will be discussion board activities and presentations that will meet at an assigned time. These will be determined by the needs and availability of the students. My time will be flexible to help meet needs of students in this regard.
* Course 20930 * Elizabeth Fritz, Instructor * Location: Online * Dates: June 22 - July 17 * Credit: 2 hour(s) Drake, Morningside, Viterbo * or Recertification *Graduate credit through Viterbo University available pending University course/instructor approval. If graduate credit through Viterbo is not an option, the participant will be informed and offered the opportunity to select another college/university. * Fee: $40.00 plus credit fee (if you have the book Shaping Sound Musicians you may not need this $40 fee)
